SubCat Studios and Aux Records are teaming up again to bring you the SubCat Emerging Artist Stage at the 2008 Taste of Syracuse.   This stage offers up-and-coming bands of all styles the opportunity to showcase their music for all of CNY.  

Members of SubCat Studios and Aux Records will select 22 artists to perform at this year's event and are now accepting submissions for performance slots.   Download the submission form above and mail it along with your music, bio and a photo to:

Submissions will be accepted via mail until Friday, April 4, 2008.  

Last year the SubCat Emerging Artists Stage hosted 23 local artists including Native American Music Award winner Corn-Bred and former SAMMY winner Merit.

The Taste of Syracuse, owned and operated by Galaxy Communications, takes place 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, 2008 in downtown Syracuse.   The event is free to attend and pairs live music with close to 100 food vendors from in and around Syracuse.   For more information visit www.tasteofsyracuse.com.
