For The Horizon defined the screamo scene in Syracuse during their time together. The band rocked
their debut show with A Day At The Fair (Rushmore Records), held their CD release party with
Emery (Tooth & Nail Records) and dominated the northeast
to win an opening slot for Saosin (Capitol Records).
For The Horizon brought forth stage presence that was best defined as
theatrical chaos. FTH was a refreshing act with a new sense of
direction. Locally uplifting scenes, opening minds, and
saving the soul purpose of music from the fashion.
The band was together for three years 2004 - 2007. Former members now play in
Holding Solace, Fairway and Ghost of a Stranger.
